welcome to ULT 2008
The aim of this conference is to discuss new physics in condensed matter systems at temperatures below 1K, to identify new research directions, and to discuss technical challenges and innovations. We wish to bring together a broad community of workers, spanning the field, to forge links between different experimental communities as well as between experimentalists and theorists.
Royal Holloway University of London is conveniently located with good access to Heathrow airport (20 minutes drive), central London (40 minutes by train.) Historic Runnymede, Windsor and Eton are nearby. High quality (double en suite) accommodation, conveniently located on campus, is available in Tuke or Butler Halls.
The conference will be held in the Windsor Building, a new facility at the heart of the campus, equipped with a 400 seat lecture theatre, and eight seminar rooms. Each room seats 50, and two 100 seat rooms can be created from these. Exhibition space will be available in the foyer of the Windsor Building.
